Terms of service

These terms explain how you may use GP Autopilot Consultations to send an online request to your GP practice.

About this service

GP Autopilot Consultations is operated by EyeV Limited, trading as GP Autopilot. It provides a secure route for patients to send medical and administrative requests to their GP practice. Your GP practice remains responsible for reviewing your request and deciding what care or response is appropriate.

This is not an emergency service

Important: Get urgent help when needed

Do not use this service for an emergency. Call 999 or go to A&E if someone needs immediate treatment. If you need urgent medical help but it is not an emergency, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

Using the service

When you use this service, you agree to:

  • use the practice-specific link supplied by your GP practice
  • provide accurate and complete information to the best of your knowledge
  • submit a request only for yourself or for someone you are authorised to help
  • provide contact details that your GP practice may use to respond
  • not upload malicious files or use the service in a way that could harm, disrupt or compromise it

What happens after you submit a request

Your request is sent to the GP practice shown in the service for review. Submitting a request does not guarantee a particular treatment, prescription, referral, appointment or response time. Follow any instructions shown in the confirmation screen and contact your practice if your symptoms change or you remain concerned.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available and secure, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security or technical reasons. If you cannot use the service, contact your GP practice by telephone or in person.

Your information

How personal and health information is handled is explained in our privacy notice. By submitting a request, you confirm that the information may be sent to the GP practice identified in the service so that it can respond.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
